Richmond Hill, ON – With another year of road racing, ice racing and Ontario Time Attack in the books, series officials, drivers, teams and their families gathered for the CASC-OR Awards Dinner at the Sheraton Parkway North, located in the suburbs of Toronto, on October 25.

A cash bar, dinner and award presentations concluded a busy day, which also featured the year-end workshops, where officials and club members reviewed the 2025 season and looked ahead to potential changes for 2026.

The road racing season wrapped up in early October at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, where the majority of championships were decided. A wide variety of fast cars competed in the Pirelli Super Touring Sprints and Pirelli Grand Touring Sprints, where titles went to Blaise Csida (GT1), Pat Cyr (GT2), Daria Khachi (GT3), Grant Bourne (GT4) and Stephen Di Cesare (GT5).

The popular Miata Canada Cup spec series saw Matt Gauthier (MCC1 class) win the championship in the group’s second season; Ron Rhead won the MCCU class title.

With their season ending in September, the open-wheel Toyo Tires F1600 Championship saw titles go to Stewart Ross (Class A) and Andrew Mason (Class B).

Additional CASC road racing titles went to Mike MacNeil (Formula Libre), James Morton (Formula 4), Douglas George (Formula Prototype Challenge – Radical) and Mike MacNeil/Travis Hill (Formula Prototype Challenge – Platinum).

Ontario Time Attack sees drivers competing against the clock on road courses. Championships went to Luke Lay (overall), Luigi Altobello (Open/Modified), Nuwan Wijeratne (Super Grand Touring A-Spec), Robin Levesque (Super Grand Touring B-Spec), Luke Lay (Grand Touring A-Spec), Giuliano Traetto (Grand Touring B-Spec), Sean McPhee (Grand Touring C-Spec), Pierpaolo Petrucci (Touring A-Spec) and Alex Hatz (Touring B-Spec).

Taking place during the winter months at the Minden Fairgrounds, as weather permits, the ice racing overall titles went to Rebecca Fleguel (Rubber-to-Ice), Dave Sullivan (Second Driver Rubber) and Dustin Brown (Street Stud and Second Driver Street Stud).

At the race workshops, earlier in the day, Inside Track spoke with series officials about road racing, ice racing and Ontario Time Attack. We also interviewed driver and open-wheel representative Paul Subject about a special invitational event.
