This week, Edinburgh Rugby is shining a spotlight on the incredible work that It’s Good 2 Give does to support young cancer patients and their families across Scotland.
From practical assistance to crucial mental health support and the provision of restorative short breaks at their Ripple Retreat, It’s Good 2 Give makes a tangible difference during incredibly challenging times.
You can be part of the team that #ChangesTheGame this week! There are plenty of ways for the Edinburgh Rugby faithful to contribute and help It’s Good 2 Give continue their invaluable work:
- Donate when you buy your ticket: When securing your seat for Friday’s showdown against the Sharks, you’ll have the option to add a donation to It’s Good 2 Give at checkout. Choose to donate £1, £3, or £5 and directly contribute to their vital services.
- Text to donate: Making a difference is as easy as sending a text! Simply text IG2G followed by the amount you wish to donate (5, 10, or 20) to 70470. For example, text IG2G 10 to donate £10.

- Mental health support: Funding four vital psychologist posts on children’s oncology wards in Edinburgh and Glasgow, providing crucial mental health support from the point of diagnosis.
- The Ripple Retreat: A purpose-built haven on the shores of Loch Venachar, offering families a peaceful escape to relax, recharge, and focus on their mental wellness away from the hospital environment.
