City gymnast Gulhane selected for nationals
Rahinya Gulhane, a gymnast of Shivaji Gymnastics Club, functioning at Dhanwate National College, has been selected to represent Maharashtra in the National Tumbling Gymnastics Championship to be held in Dehradun from August 7 to 10. Rahinya is the first gymnast from Nagpur to be selected in Maharashtra team for this national competition.
Her dedication, discipline and passion for gymnastics has taken her to the national meet.
With the valuable support of club mentor Mayuresh Shirshikar and coach Varun Kale, she has been training
consistently under the expert guidance of head coach Manthan Bhalavi.
Dhanwate National College Principal Dr Prashant Kothe, Dr Devendra Wankhade, Head of Physical Education Department, Dr Subhash Dadhe, Prof Jayant Jichkar, Mayuresh Shirshikar, Praveen Jadhav and Lalit Kukde congratulated Rahinya.
