Clark Fork volleyball camp coming up
The Clark Fork High volleyball team will host its annual “Littles” youth volleyball camp Thursday, June 19. The camp is for boys and girls entering third through eighth grade and costs $40 a player. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with sign in at 9:30 a.m., and a break for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The program is run by head coach Lyndsie Kiebert-Carey, with high school players serving as assistant coaches and positive mentors. All proceeds directly benefit the high school team. To sign up, email lyndsie.kiebert-carey@lposd.org or text 208-627-8706.
“I’m a huge believer that taking part in high school sports should give teens an opportunity to see themselves as good role models in our community,” coach Kiebert-Carey said. “Our annual ‘Littles’ camp is a chance for our high school players to spread the joy and lessons of volleyball to local kiddos. It’s one of my favorite days of the year.”
