Andrew Clark and Anthony White from Rutgers wrestling were named 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Scholar All-Americans, announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). It marks the third scholar All-America laurel for White, while Clark earns recognition for the second time.
 
To qualify, respective student-athletes must enjoy success both in the classroom and on the mat. Clark and White both represented the Scarlet Knights in the postseason, with Clark qualifying for the NCAA Championships and White being selected as an alternate for the national tournament. Both competed at the Big Ten Championships, where Clark earned a sixth-place finish.
 
A two-time national qualifier, Clark finished with a team-high 23 victories this past season competing at 149 pounds. The Collingswood, New Jersey, native produced 10 dual victories and 30 team points, also finishing second at the Black Knight Invitational and fourth at Midlands. A four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Clark competed at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships last month in Philadelphia, where he picked up a victory on the frontside of the bracket during the championships. Clark was also a NWCA Scholar All-American in 2022.
 
White wrapped up this past season with 15 victories and a No. 29 ranking in the final coaches poll. A three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, White picked up two victories at the Big Ten Championships last month in Evanston, Illinois, including a win over No. 19 Tyler Lillard (Indiana). White also earned NWCA Scholar All-America accolades in 2023 and 2024.
