Cleveland State Volleyball Tabbed Fourth In #HLVB Preseason Poll
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League unveiled its 2025 Volleyball Preseason Poll Wednesday, with Cleveland State – the reigning #HLVB Champions – tabbed to finish fourth in the competitive 10-team league.

The Vikings are coming off a 23-10 campaign – their ninth 20-win season under head coach Chuck Voss – and return eight members from last year’s #HLVB Championship team. Included in this group is all-league honoree Laken Voss, along with starters JeriLynn Koehler and Vayda Delventhal. Joining the Vikings for the 2025 campaign will be six true freshmen and one senior transfer.
Cleveland State will open the 2025 campaign at the Rumble in the Rockies this weekend, facing host Wyoming, Colorado and Tulsa during the three-day tournament. This weekend’s matches mark the beginning of an 11-match non-league slate for the Vikings, while Cleveland State will open its 18-match Horizon League lineup on Friday, September 26.
