Chalamet was raised in New York City and possesses French citizenship through his father, who was born in France. He spent summers in France with his grandparents.

The “Wonka” actor also attended Columbia University before transferring to New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Eventually, he dropped out of NYU to pursue acting full-time.

“I enjoy some of Timothée Chalamet’s films, but what does he really know about college football?” another user commented.

“I have never looked at Timothée Chalamet and thought, ‘I wonder what insights he has about the college football scene,’” said another post.

Chalamet is a dedicated New York Knicks supporter and has attended numerous games at Madison Square Garden, yet he is not recognized as a college football enthusiast.

Typically, the show chooses guest pickers with affiliations to the game being previewed.

Former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was a guest picker during the show’s stop in Columbus, Ohio, for the Buckeyes’ game against Indiana. Former LSU pitcher Paul Skenes and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne served as pickers when the show visited Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the LSU-Alabama matchup.
