Nusterer had one solo and nine assist blocks on Friday, when Hawai’i recorded a season-best 18.5 blocks in five sets. He recorded another 10 blocks on Saturday, with seven coming in the opening set.

Nusterer, a redshirt junior from Columbus North, averaged 2.22 blocks per set and had a career-high 10 blocks in each of the two matches over the weekend to lead the fourth-ranked Rainbow Warriors (8-0) to a sweep at No. 5 BYU.

Nusterer currently ranks fourth in the Big West and 12th in the nation with 1.222 blocks per set.
Russell, a sophomore from Columbus North, ran 4:13.68 to finish 60th overall.
