In the opening segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, co-hosts Dave Caldwell and Carrie Lujan kick things off by congratulating The Master’s University Men’s Volleyball Team. The team capped off their undefeated and incredible season with a win over St. Xavier in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) championship game. This marks the first time in TMU history that a men’s team has brought home a national title.
Carrie also shares her inspiring experience at FestAbility, an inclusive event celebrating the disability community and their families. The event featured adaptive activities such as wrestling, basketball, soccer, and even a rock wall, where children in wheelchairs had the opportunity to fully participate in the fun.
