IRVING, Texas – For a record fourth time this season, Oklahoma State’s Harrison Bodendorf is the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week, earning that distinction following his performance in Week 12.

With his four Big 12 Pitcher of the Week awards, Bodendorf ties the conference record for single-season honors, joining four others on that list. Alek Manoah of West Virginia was the last to achieve the feat in 2019, while Bodendorf also joins fellow OSU southpaw Michael Freeman (2015) on the list. Harrison Musgrave (WVU, 2013) and Ryan Rupe (Texas A&M, 1998) also share the record.

Bodendorf turned in another dominant performance last week as he shut down one of the league’s top offensive teams in the series opener against UCF.

Against a Knights’ lineup that entered the game second in the Big 12 and 11th nationally with a .319 team batting average and averaging over seven runs per game, Bodendorf tossed eight shutout innings and picked up the win to improve to 8-1 on the season.

Bodendorf allowed just four hits and one walk while racking up seven strikeouts. It was his ninth start to last at least five innings and his eighth to strike out at least six.

Bodendorf’s eight wins are tied for the most in the Big 12 this season and rank 11th nationally, and he lowered his ERA to 2.63, which ranks fourth in the conference.
