A wild weekend awaits in Music City! NASCAR is heading to Nashville Superspeedway for another tripleheader weekend. The Cup Series had a 5OT finish at the track a year ago. As Sunday approaches, drivers and fans are wondering if we are going to see a similar ending.
Since it is Music City, there is plenty of country music flair on the cars. A few teams have done more than others. A few of these cars look like they belong on Broadway instead of the superspeedway.
Country music and NASCAR – there are few things that go together better than that. Cracker Barrel is the Cup Series race sponsor. Let’s see what these cars look like as we head into the race weekend.
Ross Chastain No. 1 Busch Country Chevy

You knew that Ross Chastain and Trackhouse Racing would have a great Nashville scheme. Busch Light is embracing the country music theme this NASCAR weekend.
Chastain has won at Nashville. He was there late for the win last year before being wrecked. Can he get the job done this weekend and go back-to-back in the Cup Series? 9.5/10.
Chris Buescher No. 17 OIKOS Ford
Now THAT is how you use the extra door space. No one is going to question who the sponsor is on Chris Buescher’s No. 17 Ford this weekend.
Buescher has been a little bit quiet this season. I think that could change over the next few weeks and Nashville would be a great place to start. 8.5/10.
Christopher Bell No. 20 DeWalt Toyota
I like these DeWalt variations. A little extra dirt never hurt anyone, and this car will only get dirtier during the NASCAR race.
Christopher Bell is trying to get back to Victory Lane after winning three in a row earlier this season. He has six top-10s, three of those P3 or better, in the last seven races. It feels like this weekend could be his to grab that fourth win. 8.25/10.
William Byron No. 24 Raptor High Heat Chevy
Heartbreak for William Byron at Charlotte. Now he heads to Music City in search of another NASCAR win. Right now, he has a win at Daytona and two dominant performances from Darlington and Charlotte that came up short.
Byron is the points leader, but there is something missing from that team right now. Whatever it is, Rudy Fugle and Byron are going to try and find it on Sunday. 8/10.
Zane Smith No. 38 Mystik Lubricants Ford
I am a sucker for a puple race car. This one, green, purple, and black, is fantastic. A little touch of red just to set it all off.
Zane Smith has had a couple of good runs. Nashville is where he finished P2 in that 5OT finish a year ago. Can he recreate that magic this NASCAR weekend? 8/10.
A few times this season, John Hunter Nemechek has been very impressive. He has also had a lot of struggles this year in his second season with Legacy Motor Club.
It looked like he was set to record his third straight top-10 at Charlotte. Then his car started to fall off the pace late. He was fighting in the top-10 for a lot of Sunday’s race. He’s hoping that Nashville will give him another opportunity to impress at an intermediate track. 7.5/10.
Tyler Reddick No. 45 Pinnacle Toyota
A blue and white paint scheme. Simple, but effective. Pinnacle is riding on the No. 45 car of Tyler Reddick this weekend. 23XI Racing has really lacked speed on these intermediate tracks to the surprise of many.
Despite having struggles with speed, Reddick is still 5th in points. He has done a great job of stage racing, but hasn’t really sniffed a win this season. Can they figure things out before it is too late? 7.5/10.
Ryan Preece No. 60 Trimble Ford
This is a new sponsor for RFK Racing and one that they are very excited about. The car looks good and Ryan Preece is hoping that it races good, too.
The No. 60 team feels like they are on the cusp of something great. If everything goes right, I won’t be shocked to see Preece win a race this season. 7.5/10.
Corey Heim No. 67 Chief’s Toyota
Eric Church’s bar, Chief’s, is sponsoring Corey Heim this weekend. A pretty simple paint scheme, Heim is returning to the track where he made his 23XI debut.
Nashville was a DNF for Heim last year. However, his P13 run at Kansas was very promising. Could he score his first career top-10? 7/10.
Daniel Suárez No. 99 Orchid Lounge Chevy
Trackhouse Racing wasn’t going to just let Ross Chastain have all the Nashville fun. Tootsies is back on the No. 99 of Daniel Suárez. Texas was the last top-10 for Suárez. In the last two races he has had DNFs.
The 99 team has shown flashes this year. Las Vegas was their best performance P2. It has been very hit or miss in 2025, though. 9/10.
