This winter, Crescent City Sports expanded its wrestling coverage with live streams of high-profile duals and tournament finals. In 2024, CCS established its first sports-specific social media vertical, Crescent City Wrestling, which has quickly gained a major footprint on the local, state and national wrestling scene.On the schedule are three boys duals with two teams from Louisiana and one from Mississippi competing in a round-robin format. Also on Saturday’s slate is a dual between teams of the top girls wrestlers from Louisiana and Mississippi.
The Crescent City Sports team is in its 14th season of producing live broadcasts for television and internet, having produced more than 500 live streams since 2012, and is continuing its extensive commitment to prep sports coverage on its website for 2024-25. All written and video content on CCS is always free and does not require a subscription.
Coverage will begin just prior to the 10 a.m. start of the first match. Chad Ravannack will lead CCS’ wrestling broadcasts throughout the season.
Some of the best high school wrestlers from Louisiana and Mississippi will compete in the second annual event.
