The Lakes Area Cruisers had their month gathering in the backroom of Elijah’s Café in Woodville on Thursday night and it was well attended by the club’s membership. Morgan Woolems one of the club’s members said, “We like to support restaurants and other businesses that support our work and Elijah’s has always been one of the best supporters that we have!”Club members began to arrive around 5:30 PM and as each of the classic cars entered the parking lot diners inside the restaurant turned their heads to get a better look at what was driving into the parking lot. Besides the monthly gathering for fellowship the upcoming Azelia Festival in Jasper was up for discussion.
The Lakes Area Cruisers are well known for their classic cars and their charitable giving to help communities across the Southeast Texas region and beyond. You can find members of the Cruisers at car shows all across Texas and even in neighboring states.
