Davis, Kolivoski named to 2025 AVCA All-Atlantic Region Volleyball First Team
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University setter Kearstin Davis and libero Shay Kolivoski were named Wednesday morning to the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Atlantic Region Volleyball First Team.
This marks the second postseason award for Davis after being named to the 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division First Team and the third for Kolivoski after earning All-PSAC First Team honors and being named the PSAC Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Year.
Davis finished the season ranking seventh in the PSAC in assists per set (8.03), totaling 940 assists throughout the season. This season, she produced 30 or more assists in 18 matches, including 40 or more assists in six matches and 50 or more in one match.
She also ranked second in the PSAC and 28th in Division II with 51 aces. Defensively, Davis ranked second on the team in digs with 311, averaging 2.66 per set.
Kolivoski led the PSAC and ranked 18th in Division II in total number of digs with 582. She was among the top five in the league with 4.97 digs per set. Kolivoski produced 10 or more digs in all 29 matches and 20 or more digs in 18 matches. Out of 467 receptions, Kolivoski has only committed 16 receiving errors (.966). Kolivoski ranked third on the team in service aces with 41.
Davis earns her fourth All-Region honor of her career after being selected for the AVCA team in 2024 and 2023 and the D2CCA team in 2024. This marks the third year in a row that Davis has been named to the AVCA All-Region Team. This is the first time she has been named to the First Team after being an Honorable Mention selection the past two seasons.
Kolivoski earns the first All-Region honor of her career.
Davis and Kolivoski are the first Raiders to be named to the AVCA All-Atlantic Region First Team since 2019. Kolivoski becomes the first libero in school history to be named to an AVCA All-Region team.
The AVCA team is conducted by the head coaches in each region and is comprised of a First Team and honorable mention selections.
