EL CENTRO — The first-ever Esports Girls’ Tournament was a huge success, El Centro Elementary School District (ECESD) said.The District said the tournament proved that girls in gaming are rising, breaking barriers, and leading the way in a rapidly growing field.Students from Kennedy Middle School, Wilson Jr. High School, and De Anza Magnet School showcased their skills, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition, the District said.ECESD congratulated De Anza Magnet School team for their victory.“Their hard work and strategy paid off, and they brought home the win!” the District said. “Esports isn’t just about gaming—it empowers students by developing valuable skills like collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership.”
