SEATTLE – For the second time this season, Alexis DeBoer has earned Big Ten weekly honors, this time recognized as freshman of the week, the conference office announced today.

DeBoer was named Big Ten Player of the Week on March 3.

Last week at Penn State, DeBoer averaged .500 with two home runs, five hits, four runs scored, two doubles, three RBI and two walks to help Washington secure its fifth conference series. In addition, she posted a 1.300 slugging percentage.

In the series finale, DeBoer went 3-for-3 with a single and two home runs. It was her fourth-multi home run and 12th multi-RBI game of the season. DeBoer became the seventh Husky to hit 20 or more home runs and the first since Baylee Klingler (24) in 2022. She is the second freshman to accomplish the feat.

Up next, the Huskies head to West Lafayette, Indiana for the Big Ten Tournament. Washington will be the 7-seed and face 10-seed Indiana in the first round on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. PT. The game will air live on Big Ten Network.
