SNAP Sports, which stands for Special Needs Athletes and Peers, is organizing a Pickleball Fundraising event on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Paseo Club located in Valencia. The round-robin pickleball tournament will kick off at 8 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 4:30 p.m.

SNAP Sports is a non-profit organization based in Santa Clarita Valley, recognized as 501(c)(3), and is entirely operated by volunteers who are dedicated to offering inclusive sports initiatives. These programs empower individuals with special needs, regardless of age or disability, helping them improve physical fitness, build self-esteem, and create lasting friendships.
The range of SNAP Sports programs covers various activities, including Adaptive ice skating, ice hockey, flag football, cheerleading, and even a running club.
All programs are designed to suit the individual capabilities of the athletes and are provided at no cost to participants, except for ice hockey, which entails a small registration fee.
Residents of Santa Clarita Valley are encouraged to drop by the Paseo Club to watch the tournament, practice shooting pucks with the Los Angeles Kings Crew, and check out the event vendors.
