Greensboro, N.C.- Denison holds steady atop the competition following day three of the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The Big Red totaled 11 All-American performances on Friday, which was highlighted by earning three runner-up nods in the 200 Medley Relay, the 800 Free Relay, and the 100 Breast. Denison (298 points) holds a 47.5 lead over the second-place team Emory (250.50), and in third place with 211 points is the University of Chicago.Up Next

Fogle’s final score is a 59.8-point improvement from last year’s eighth-place point total of 449.45, providing a definitive 16-point cushion heading into the final day of competition. Patrick Daly joined Fogle as a first-team All-American, finishing seventh in the 100 Breast with a time of 54.16.The Big Red began day three with a bang, taking second in the 200 Medley Relay. Ben Bevill, Elijah Venos, Christian Narcelles, and Nick Hensel swam the relay in 1:27.27, which was just 0:00.04 shy of tying the program’s varsity record. Denison’s second individual runner-up of the championships was senior Elijah Venos, who swam the 100 Breast in 52.88 seconds, beating his own varsity record of 53.13 set in 2024.Much like how the Big Red started the finals, they finished it with energy, earning its fourth runner-up finish in the 800 Free Relay. Jack Hill, Tyler Distenfeld, Gavin Jones, and Devin Testin swam the 800 Free Relay in 6:30.41, just a few tenths of a second off a varsity record.Six members of the Big Red earned second-team All-America finishes on Friday. Max Lough and Liam Nelson grabbed 11th place in the 200 Fly (1:47.98) and the 100 Brest (54.17), respectively. Earning 13th in the 100 Back first-year, Ben Bevill swam it in 48.66, just a second shy of Denison’s varsity record. Nick Hensel finished 14th in the 100 Breast with a time of 54.86, and just behind him was Gavin Jones with a time of 54.89. Wrapping up the second team All-American finishes is Max Soja, who took 15th in the 200 fly after swimming it in 1:48.94.First-Team All-Americans (Top-8):
