They urged store owners and operators along with people buying or selling things through social media to keep an eye out for movie money bills.“They are not illegal to own but is a serious crime to use these bills as currency for purchasing goods or services,” HCSO said. “Please be cautious when receiving cash from others, especially if you do not know the person. The money was turned over to McEwen Police Department by the person that found it.”The sheriff’s office said a citizen turned in several hundred dollars of cause they found on the side of White Oak Road.Copyright 2025 WSMV.
