DraftKings Predict is a product that is just getting into development, so it could be a while until we see it live. The Crypto.com promo code offers markets similar to what DraftKings Predict may have. To be legal, DraftKings Predict will need to obtain status as a registered derivatives market. As long as DraftKings Predict abides by federal and state regulations, it’ll be a part of an emerging market that is getting lots of attention.
Key Details of the DraftKings Predict Promo Offer
DraftKings Predict is the sports betting operator’s answer to exchange platforms that offer alternatives to traditional betting. We can safely assume that sporting events will be part of their offerings, but other markets on pop culture and politics could also be in the mix.

Traders from major financial firms like Goldman Sachs were inspired to create new platforms that mimicked the original blockchain markets but for a broader, more mainstream audience.
DraftKings Predict to Offer Sports Prediction Markets
This underground community eventually bled into the start-up world, with traders from major brokerage houses starting prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket via their experiences managing uncertainty for their clients. Prediction markets are decentralized by design. Early prediction markets were big proponents of blockchain technology, which added to their allure. With crypto and blockchain pushing into the mainstream, these markets began to be seen as a source of information to help us better understand our world. Initially, sports prediction markets only allowed the opportunity to predict the outcomes of big events, like the Super Bowl or the championship outcome of a sports season. It’s slowly expanding into individual games, and by the time DraftKings Predict rolls out, it should continue to expand its offerings. At the time of writing, there is no potential launch date for DraftKings Predict. The brand’s move to register with the National Futures Association in July 2024 was the first in a series of moves that must be cleared for DraftKings Predict to take action from traders.
Understanding Sports Prediction Contracts
Prediction sports markets are similar to gambling as you can invest money into a prediction (such as whether a team will win a championship) and receive a payout if you’re correct. Despite the similarities, predictions and actual gambling are regulated differently, with the former being more widely available. The company has a successful history with its mobile apps. They are well-rated in both app stores and frequently praised by users for being fast, having a pleasant user experience, and incorporating new features without sacrificing quality. While we wait for the DraftKings Predict promo, consider claiming the Kalshi promo code.
Yes/No Questions
Prediction markets are a form of speculation that has emerged from the digital underground and into the mainstream. For years, prediction markets existed in various formats illicitly online, usually fueled by untraceable Bitcoin transactions. Ready to claim a bonus available now? The Underdog promo code is ready for the taking.
- Round of 8 qualifiers men’s college basketball: Alabama 67%, BYU 33%
I’m eager to highlight what we can expect from the new prediction-focused venture, including the potential DraftKings Predict promo code and welcome offer. I’ll also discuss potential roadblocks in DraftKings Predict’s path to offering prediction market offerings to its already-devoted user base. For any form of investing, it’s important to approach investing with a long-term mentality and a tolerance for short-term discomfort. And considering that a sports exchange like DraftKings Predict has elements similar to sports betting, you should prioritize responsible gaming.
DraftKings Predict Available Sports Markets
Because they offer so much power to tap into the collective opinion on certain topics, there’s been lots of regulatory struggle with government bodies legalizing them. The Trump administration has demonstrated that it will not regulate this new sector aggressively, signaling this by adding a board member of Kalshi to the CFTC, the regulatory body that oversees prediction markets. While DraftKings Predict does not have the beginnings of an app framework at this time, it will likely offer a mobile version to go along with the desktop version of the site. Chasing losses in the marketplace is always a frequent temptation; all speculative investors should follow common sense guidelines to ensure they’re investing in the best possible frame of mind.
Signup Process for DraftKings Predict

In Predict markets, traders can speculate on political and economic events, pop culture outcomes, and stories in the news. You can speculate on almost anything in a prediction market, including Predict sports markets, which allow users to trade on major sporting events.
- Register: To create an account, you’ll need a unique email address or may be able to authenticate using Apple or Google.
- Verify your identity: Most prediction markets require users to be at least 18 years old and provide their valid U.S. ID and Social Security Number.
- Fund your account: Deposit methods vary per site, but you can expect all the most common sports betting deposit options. Crypto options are possible based on competitor offerings.
- Begin trading: Decide which NFL, NBA, or other markets you want to trade on and select yes or no.
DraftKings Predict App Review
Armed with a team of lawyers and prepared to challenge regulatory efforts, exchanges breathed a sigh of relief when newly elected President Trump signaled that he wouldn’t regulate the emerging market strictly, and top prediction markets began expanding their offerings. DraftKings Predict may offer bonus offers for new customers—stay tuned for the promo code needed to qualify and other details. Within current products, you can check on your wager history, set reminders to be alerted about your investing, and use tools across the industry to curb your gaming habits by setting deposit, wager, and time limits on your account. If those tools aren’t enough, you can go all the way and exclude yourself from the site altogether. Like any financial market, profits and losses must be tracked carefully and reported on your taxes. Record keeping is essential to accurate financial reporting.
DraftKings Predict News Timeline
Check back for the latest developments!
- July 30, 2024: DraftKings CEO Jason Robins registers an entity called “DraftKings Predict” with the National Futures Association. This move is seen as the sports betting giant showing their interest in establishing a prediction market.
Responsible investing is important across all forms of investment, including prediction markets. From its time in the sports betting space, DraftKings Predict will most likely bring over some of the responsible gaming tools the brand already has in operation on its other properties.
DraftKings Predict Launch Date
DraftKings Predict could be a legitimate prediction market, but it faces regulatory hurdles before trading to the general public becomes a reality. Registered prediction markets are legal in the US, but the regulatory battles with the CFTC are frequent. It’s important to pay attention to the regulatory side of prediction markets, particularly as they expand into new arenas.
Existing Successful DraftKings Properties

DraftKings Predict recently registered its name with the American Futures Association to offer sports prediction markets. This way, the company could reach more users beyond its traditional sportsbook.
- DraftKings Sportsbook: DraftKings Sportsbook is one of the most prominent sportsbooks in the post-PAPSA United States. The diversity of offerings, frequent promotions, and the deepest player props market in the online sportsbook world make this one of the best online sports betting experiences today.
- DraftKings Pick6: Another product developed to counter upstarts trying to corner a niche market of the fantasy sports world, DraftKings Pick6 competes against PrizePicks and Underdog. In this game, players select a lineup of six athletes and decide whether or not they will beat the projection assigned to them that night. The more matches you hit, the more you win.
- DraftKings Casino: While online casino games haven’t caught on as much as sports betting, DraftKings has an online casino product for the people and states looking for them. With tons of live dealer games, hundreds of slot games, and promotions that cut across their products, DraftKings Casino can introduce you to some nice table games from the comfort of your phone.
- DraftKings DFS: DraftKings DFS introduced salary cap-based fantasy games to the general masses, planting the seeds for sports betting to follow in its footsteps. There are many ways to play at DraftKings DFS, from head-to-head match-ups against friends to beating out a field of two thousand other competitors (or more) in a big field guaranteed prize pool tournament.
- DK Horse: Horse racing used to be considered the sport of kings, but it has lost street cred over the years. DraftKings has tried to pump life into the sport by creating DK Horse, a standalone app for betting on horse races.
Recent Emergence of Popular Event Markets
The deposit mechanism would most likely be similar to what DraftKings operates now with its sportsbook and other products. Users can simply connect an available deposit method (maybe including crypto) and deposit the desired amount while adhering to minimums and maximums. If you’d rather trade on sports in a for-fun setting, the Manifold Markets promo code is for you. DraftKings is one of the most well-established sports betting operators in the United States. Their potential expansion into prediction markets would be another property to add to their portfolio of online products. This section will cover the most important questions regarding DraftKings Predict and its promo code:
Are Predictions Markets Like DraftKings Predict Legal?
If you ever need additional support, call 1-800-GAMBLER for confidential help. The question, for sports, usually looks something like this: With taxes, DraftKings Predict should be treated similarly to how you treat taxes for the stock market. Since prediction markets are more like traditional financial markets, you should consider the gains & losses as tax liabilities. Sports prediction contracts, like event contracts offered on other prediction markets, are usually framed as yes or no questions. You are not wagering on outcomes specifically; you are speculating on the likelihood of an event outcome being yes or no in the way you predict.
Taxes and Regulations for DraftKings Predict
The timeline for the launch of DraftKings Predict is unclear at this time. DraftKings CEO Jason Robins applied with the National Futures Association in July 2024, the first of many steps to becoming a regulated prediction market. DraftKings Predict isn’t live yet, so we still have limited details on its promo code and signup bonus. Considering that its other products offer everything from bonus bets to casino credits, there’s a good chance that its predictions market will also welcome users with a nice reward. Check back for the latest updates:
Responsible Gaming at Prediction Markets

Stay tuned to see how DraftKings Predict goes through the regulatory process and eventually becomes available to customers. DraftKings Predict NFL, DraftKings Predict NBA, DraftKings Predict NHL, and DraftKings Predict MLB could soon become available, offering users the chance to trade on outcomes in their favorite leagues.
- Have a plan for what you’re going to invest in.
- Only invest when you’re properly rested, alert, and prepared.
- Put reasonable limits on yourself: set a stop/loss for each session or a fixed amount of time spent on the site that day.
- Be prepared to walk away if you have crossed over from investing logically to investing emotionally.
Possible Tools at DraftKings Predict
Potential DraftKings Predict users should anticipate a long runway before it goes live. Given the constant back-and-forth that other prediction markets have faced with regulatory bodies like the CTFC checking their every move into expanding market trading (we’re looking at you, Robinhood), it’s safe to assume that the product would not be live for the general public until later this year or even further out. It’s unclear what DraftKings Predict will offer for sports trading. Based on existing offerings at competitors, we can expect DraftKings Predict to offer all four major American team sports. Other possibilities include tennis, golf, soccer, and Formula 1. If DraftKings Predict goes beyond sports markets, it could become one of the best political trading sites. Prediction markets are fast becoming one of the most exciting markets in the online wagering industry. This sector is growing because it can apply investment thinking to sports games and other events.
Final Thoughts on the Future of DraftKings Predict
With Polymarket and Kalshi getting so much attention in the press, it was only a matter of time until an established sports betting operator jumped into the prediction market space. DraftKings Predict is a ways away, but the sign-up process should be similar to other prediction markets. It will look something like this process: The percentage assessment given by the prediction market is the likelihood of the outcome happening, which is determined by the trades already placed on the event. In this case, Alabama looks like a clear favorite, and anyone who wants to speculate on the less probable outcome of the game could have a nice payout if the outcome goes their way.
DraftKings Predict Promo Code FAQs
I’m not sure if the operator will throw its exchange in the same app it currently houses its sportsbook and casino or create a dedicated app like it did for its DFS and Pick6 offerings. Only time will tell, so stay tuned for updates.
Is DraftKings Predict legit?
It’ll be a while until DraftKings Predict is live—potentially as far as next year. The possibility of one of the biggest sports betting companies in the industry getting into the prediction market shows what an exciting sector prediction markets are.
When is the launch of DraftKings Predict?
Platforms like PredictIt, Kalshi, and Polymarket were among the first to come onto the scene. Inital offerings were economics, politics, and pop culture, but as the user base grew, these up-starts began offering event trading on sports.
Can I get a bonus offer from DraftKings Predict?
Prediction markets were generally an underground concept originally built on blockchain and, therefore, untraceable. As they’ve emerged into the light of day, they’re becoming effective tools that everyone from financial analysts to political pollsters use to inform their decision-making.
Is DraftKings Predict sports betting?
With a relatively simple framework based on yes/no questions, it’s easy to see how people can get swept up into prediction markets and use them to better understand the world around them.
How would I put money into my DraftKings Predict account?
Prediction markets are a trend of people eschewing expert opinions; instead, they rely on crowd-sourced wisdom. They can be a great tool for interpreting how people view an issue.
Are prediction markets legal in the US?
DraftKings Predict looks like it will be a prediction market, which differs from sports betting. Prediction markets are structured more like derivative trading markets. If you want to explore one of the company’s current apps, be sure to sign up with the DraftKings promo code.

NJCU Board of Trustees Unanimously Appoints Andrés Acebo as University’s 13th President

JERSEY CITY, N.J. | The New Jersey City University (NJCU) Board of Trustees voted unanimously at its regular board meeting today to lift the interim title for Andrés Acebo and officially appoint him as the 13th president of the institution, dating to its founding in 1927.
Acebo has served as interim president since his original appointment on January 17, 2023, leading the university through the most critical period in its 98-year history and orchestrated a remarkable financial and academic recovery. Marking the next chapter in delivering accessible public higher education to the Jersey City and Hudson County communities, Acebo signed a letter of intent in May to advance a historic merger to integrate NJCU into Kean University, two mission-aligned institutions, which once completed will create Kean Jersey City.
“At our regular Board of Trustees meeting on July 23, the Board voted unanimously to lift the interim title for Andrés Acebo and officially appoint him as the 13th president of New Jersey City University,” said Luke Visconti, Chair of the NJCU Board of Trustees. “President Acebo and his management team have provided exceptional leadership during the most critical period in our university’s history, and while he may have carried an interim title, the transformative work he has accomplished alongside our campus community has been anything but temporary. Under his leadership, our campus has experienced unprecedented change—he reduced institutional debt by tens of millions of dollars, drove three consecutive semesters of double-digit transfer enrollment growth, secured the first positive financial outlook in NJCU’s history from Moody’s, and established numerous academic and community partnerships that have strengthened our campus connections throughout the region. In recognition of these demonstrated results, the Board determined he has earned the permanent title, and his vision has helped secure the future of our campus for generations to come.”
Since taking office during a financial emergency, Acebo’s leadership resulted in Moody’s Ratings upgrading NJCU’s outlook from “negative” to “stable” in February 2024, followed by Fitch Ratings doing the same in November 2024. In May 2025, Moody’s upgraded NJCU’s outlook from stable to positive—the first time Moody’s has ever assigned a positive outlook to the university.
President Acebo addressed the audience following the Board announcement, and after thanking the Board and his family, added: “Thank you to the NJCU community for carrying me over the last two and a half years. None of this is ever done alone. Nothing meaningful and impactful is ever accomplished alone and I will forever honor and cherish this beautiful and beloved community that is New Jersey City University.”
Under Acebo’s leadership, NJCU has achieved numerous historic milestones. The university was ranked No. 1 in New Jersey and 10th nationally in CollegeNET’s 2023 Social Mobility Index, maintaining its No. 1 state ranking and Top 20 national position in 2024. The university graduated 1,667 students in Spring 2024—an 8.2 percent increase in bachelor’s degrees from 2023, and an additional 1,544 in 2025.
Acebo, who became only the third Hispanic to serve as leader of a four-year public institution in New Jersey and is the youngest known president to lead a public university in the state, has been widely recognized for his transformational leadership. In May 2024, ROI-NJ named him the No. 1 ranked Influencer in New Jersey Higher Education, and he ranked No. 4 overall in the 2024 NJBiz Education Power 50 List—the highest ranking of any college or university president in New Jersey.
The Hudson County native and proud first-generation son of Cuban exiles has implemented four major strategic initiatives during his tenure: the NJCU Recovery and Revitalization Plan (April 2023), the university’s first Academic Master Plan (February 2024), the institution’s first Strategic Enrollment Plan (April 2024), and the first-ever Student Development and Community Engagement Strategic Plan (December 2024).
Acebo has also strengthened community partnerships, including the groundbreaking Hudson Connect Program with Hudson County Community College and similar agreements with Essex County College and Mercer County Community College.
The university’s relationship with local communities has flourished under Acebo’s leadership, including enhanced partnerships with Jersey City Public Schools and the creation of the NJCU President’s Community Advisory Council in August 2024.
Furthermore, Acebo has signed key strategic MOUs, including with the NJEA, Hudson Building Trades, GLACO, AFT Local 1839, Jersey City POBA, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (SHCCNJ) and Hudson County Latin American Chamber of Commerce (HCLACC). In March, 2025, NJCU announced its athletics program would move from the NJAC to join a new conference being formed that includes the eight Division III members of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC). The conference realignment will make NJCU the first school outside of the New York City five borough footprint to join the conference as a full-time member.
NJCU’s relationship with the Jersey City Public Schools (JCPS) has never been stronger than during Acebo’s tenure. Notably, NJCU in partnership with the A. Harry Moore Laboratory School launched the A. Harry Moore School Life Independence and Future Transitions (LIFT) in October 2024 on campus in Grossnickle Hall and in November 2024 signed an academic articulation agreement with the Jersey City Board of Education aimed at enhancing the operation of the JCPS Visual and Performing Arts Program.
Under his leadership, NJCU introduced the most significant overhaul of its general education curriculum in decades, allowing every course on the approved New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) list, including those without direct equivalencies, to be accepted at NJCU for general education credit. The NJCU University Senate, with 95 percent in favor, overwhelmingly voted in favor of the reforms to the General Education program — thus making NJCU the most-transfer friendly institution in the State of New Jersey.
In Spring 2024, NJCU continued making transformative changes to higher ed, dismantling systemic barriers that students face in their degree completions, as the university introduced a pledge of guaranteed schedules for its students. Additionally, NJCU announced plans to absorb the cost of books into the price of tuition beginning in Fall 2024, which will eliminate the uncertainty about the cost of college.
Acebo holds a B.A. from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. A North Jersey resident, he is a proud product of Union City public schools in Hudson County. He’s the proud father to three young children and husband to an extraordinarily dedicated educator — an NJCU alumnae — who proudly celebrate and champion their community and their roots together.
The campus will plan a formal investiture for President Acebo during the Fall 2025 semester.

Here is the criteria for a team to be named an NCAA Division III All-Academic Team:
- Cumulative team GPA (not 2024-25 academic year, not semester) of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter, computed by the following method:
- Total the cumulative number of semester hours or quarter hours earned for all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility, including the most recent grading period;
- Total the cumulative number of quality points (GPA multiplied by the number of credit hours) earned by all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility, including the most recent grading period;

CHICAGO, Ill. – Nebraska volleyball head coach Dani Busboom Kelly and two players are heading to Chicago for the fourth annual Big Ten Media Days. Junior outside hitter Harper Murray and senior middle blocker Rebekah Allick are accompanying Busboom Kelly to the Windy City.
The Huskers take the podium at 3:27 p.m. CT on Monday, July 28 at the Big Ten Network Studios. Coverage of the event will be on the Big Ten Network.
Here are three storylines to watch during the event and its coverage:

How newcomers are settling in and impacting team
Nebraska volleyball has added three players since its last spring match on May 3. Italian opposite hitter Virginia Adriano signed with the Huskers. Freshmen middle blockers Kenna Cogill and Manaia Ogbechie arrived in Lincoln this summer.
Adriano will compete with Baylor transfer Allie Sczech and freshman Ryan Hunter for the starting opposite job. With her experience in the best league in Italy, Adriano could earn the position at some point this season.
Allick and middle blocker Andi Jackson will block Cogill and Ogbechie from playing much at middle blocker this year. But the duo will learn lots from the four-year starter and first-team All-American.
Busboom Kelly is also a newcomer to this team. So far, she has made Nebraska her own program and added to an already great roster.
The libero position battle
The Huskers’ most intriguing position battle this offseason was the libero. Nebraska is searching for four-time All-American Lexi Rodriguez‘s replacement. Luckily, they have two great options in junior Laney Choboy and sophomore Olivia Mauch.
Choboy has played in 90 matches over her two seasons at Nebraska. She was the Huskers’ top defensive specialist in 2024 and their co-best in 2025. Choboy and Mauch both played consistently in the back row last season.
Mauch was one of the best passers in the country in 2025. As a freshman, she played in 36 matches and averaged 1.61 digs per set. She recorded 21 service aces and 13 set assists.
Both Choboy and Mauch are great passers, digs and servers. All of Husker Nation is interested to see who Busboom Kelly puts in the opposite-colored jersey. Either way, both will have a huge role this fall.
Outside hitter battle behind Murray
Murray has her six-rotation outside hitter position locked down. She is a smart, efficient attacker, one of the best OH passers in the country and has a dangerous serve. The junior has been working on a jump serve this off-season as well. But who will earn the L2 job?
Nebraska returns Taylor Landfair for her final season of college volleyball. In her first year as a Husker, the former Minnesota attacker played in 33 matches and averaged 2.49 kills per set. She earned the starting job over Lindsay Krause but was inconsistent.
After redshirting in 2024, Skyler Pierce will compete for playing time this season. Freshman outside Teraya Sigler was the top player in the Class of 2025 and won four Arizona state titles and two Club Open National Championships. She will push hard for the starting job.

Loiola Rounds Out First Staff With New Assistant – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Head beach volleyball coach Jose Loiola announced the addition of Maddie Holmgren as an assistant coach on Tuesday, July 29. Holmgren (née Parmelly) is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, playing for the Longhorns this past spring.
“I’m super excited to add Maddie to our program, and can’t wait to start working with her,” Loiola said. “I feel like we are on the same page with our goals for the team and the year ahead. We’re starting something here with a new mentality and I think the team will embrace her perspective and what she was able to accomplish in her playing career.”
Holmgren played a key role in Texas’ rise in year three of the program’s existence, going 27-7 for the Longhorns while competing primarily on court three this past spring. Texas won the 2025 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association tournament title, with Holmgren delivering the championship-clinching point against Florida State. She would also clinch the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament victory, a 3-2 decision over California. Before her time in Austin, Holmgren played at Florida Gulf Coast for four seasons. She left the Eagles with 66 career wins, which still ranks seventh in FGCU’s 14-year history. She finished her collegiate beach volleyball career with 93 total victories.
“I’m incredibly grateful and stoked to be a part of such a great community and a growing program. I appreciate the South Carolina staff for trusting me with this role and giving me the opportunity to share my knowledge of the game with other young women. I’m excited to learn from this team and one of the best coaches in the game, Jose. I can’t wait to get to work!”
Holmgren earned a master’s degree in Strategic Communication at Texas, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from FGCU.
Holmgren joins Bailey Rima on Loiola’s first staff; Rima worked as a volunteer assistant for the 2024 season.
