DragChamp Top 10 List

1 – Amber Rutherford

Amber Rutherford takes the #1 spot this week after winning four times in the last two weeks. The Canadian racer dominated the No Box action at Northern Lights Raceway and Nitro Motorsports Park doubling up the last two weekends. Amber also won three WDRA Rod trophies and a track championship to lock down the top spot this week.

2 – Maple Grove $20,000 Winners

Maple Grove Raceway hosted it’s very own big money bracket racing event, the Triple $20’s this past weekend. Erin Thimm kicked off the weekend with $20K victory on Friday. Rob Weltner Jr. followed with a $20K win on Saturday and Mike Barber closed the weekend taking home Sunday’s $20K.

3 – Jeff Cheney

Veteran NHRA and bracket racer Jeff Cheney lands in the three spot this week after doubling up at the NHRA D5 National Open at Rock Falls. Cheney won Super Comp on Saturday and followed with a Stock/Super Stock Combo victory on Sunday.

4 – Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith took his street-legal Chevelle to the winners circle on two occasions last weekend. Smith doubled up in the Sportsman class at Bakersville while also posting a semifinal in Pro and a runner-up in the King of the Track race.

5 – Eddie Beidler

Eddie Beidler earned a Top 5 spot after doubling up at Numidia. Beidler drove his Mustang to victory in the Sportsman class on Saturday and Sunday.

6 – Jordan Johnson

Jordan Johnson extended his recent final round streak to 11 finals in the last 7 weeks. This past weekend he won the Sportsman class at Music City which was his 9th victory in the last 7 weeks.

7 – Chad & John Burleson

Chad and John Burleson both had big weekends at the CP Racing Promotions Summer Meltdown. Chad took his Buick to two No Box finals resulting in a win and a runner-up. John also made two finals taking runner-up finishes in both including a runner-up to Chad.

8 – Mitchell Vincent

Mitchell Vincent lands in the #8 spot after posting a win and a runner-up at Byron Dragway last weekend.

8 – Eric Sandlin

Dee Luv Macheen had a great weekend in Wichita after making two final round appearances. Eric Sandlin won the No Box class and came up one winlight short of the double after losing the Box final.

9 – Andrew Lindamood

Andrew Lindamood won back-to-back weeks to make another Top 10 appearance. Lindamood’s latest victory propelled him to the track championship at Holiday Raceway.

9 – Jake Overstreet

Jake Overstreet won on back-to-back weekends to earn a Top 10 showing. Overstreet put his Mustang in the winners circle a week ago at Skelton Raceway and followed with a win at Beacon Dragway this past weekend.

9 – Nick Craker

Nick Craker makes his first Top 10 appearance after making two straight final round appearances. Craker drove his Nova to a victory a week ago and added a split & quit final this past weekend to earn a Top 10 spot.

10 – Kyle Rumley

Kyle Rumley closes out this week’s Top 10 List after posting a win and a semifinal finish at the Summer Meltdown. The victory is one of many over the last six weeks as Goldie has been on fire making finals on almost a weekly basis.
