Early voting: Erie County announces Day 5 numbers
Early voting is underway in Erie County. Here’s how many ballots were cast on Day 5.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Erie County Board of Elections on Wednesday released the Day 5 total for general election early voting.
There were 4,393 ballots cast on the fifth day of early voting across Erie County for Nov. 4 general election, according to the board of elections commissioners, Ralph Mohr and Jeremy Zellner.
That brings the five-day total in Erie County to 20,269. Of those, 4,418 ballots were cast in the City of Buffalo.

Polls will be open again Thursday, from noon until 9 p.m.
The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4. You should check with your local election board to confirm your polling location. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Polls open at 6 a.m. at polling sites across Western New York.
