Elevate the Stage returns to Huntsville in March 2026
Elevate the Stage returns to Huntsville with over 1,500 gymnasts and four NCAA teams competing on March 8.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Elevate the Stage will return to Huntsville for the sixth year with more than 1,500 youth gymnasts and four NCAA women’s gymnastics teams competing March 8 at Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center.
The meet will feature Auburn University, Clemson University, the University of Georgia and the University of Pittsburgh. The weekend-long event allows youth gymnasts to compete on a raised podium alongside NCAA athletes, with the competition concluding in a collegiate meet at 4 p.m. Sunday.
“Being one of the founding teams of this meet, it is great to be back,” Auburn head coach Jeff Graba said. “It is one of the best meets in collegiate gymnastics and it’s held in our own backyard. Really looking forward to the high-level competition this year, in addition to the fact that this is one of the best run meets in the country.”
The 2022 NCAA session in Huntsville sold out with Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia competing. Olympic all-around champion Suni Lee competed that year as a member of Auburn’s team.
This year marks the fifth time NCAA teams have been part of the Huntsville meet. Elevate the Stage is staged on podium, a raised competition platform typically used at championship events such as the Olympics.
“We’re excited to welcome Elevate the Stage back to Huntsville, along with the four NCAA collegiate teams, thousands of youth gymnasts, and their families,” said Mark Russell, executive director of the Huntsville Sports Commission. “Last year’s event drew an incredible crowd, and this year we hope to fill Propst Arena at the VBC to showcase to these collegiate teams what a true sports town Huntsville is.”
Elevate the Stage is owned and operated by Knight Eady, a Birmingham-based sports marketing and event management company.
Presale tickets for the collegiate session begin Wednesday, Aug. 27. Tickets go on sale to the public Thursday, Aug. 28. More information is available at elevatethestage.com.
