DreamHack Dallas – $2 million prize pool
This year’s DreamHack Dallas took headlines when it announced a $2 million prize pool for the featured esports competitions, which include Brawl Stars, Call of Duty, Fortnite, StarCraft II, Counter-Strike 2, Halo, and Rainbow Six Siege. Moreover, the festival will have BYOC (bring-your-own-computer/console) LAN tournaments, tabletop games, and cosplay competitions.
Founded in 1994, DreamHack is one of the longest-standing gaming and esports festivals, and it is operated by ESL FACEIT Group, which was acquired by Saudi Arabian company Savvy Games Group back in 2022. Aside from Dallas, DreamHack will be heading to Shanghai this month during the Grand Finals of the Asian Champions League this weekend, as well as Stockholm (November 28 – 30), Atlanta (October 31- November 2), and Hyderabad (October 31 – November 2).
