Prepare for a significantly different Formula 1 lineup in 2025 as the concluding season of the current regulations era embarks on another global 24-race journey, all broadcast live on Sky Sports F1.

The upcoming season’s schedule incorporates the unprecedented total of 24 Grands Prix for the second consecutive year, but it will commence in Melbourne, Australia on March 16, with Albert Park hosting its first season-opening race since 2019.

Due to Ramadan occurring throughout March in 2025, both Bahrain – which had previously kicked off the season for four straight years – and Saudi Arabia will shift their races to April, hosting the fourth and fifth rounds on April 13 and April 20 respectively.

The season will once again extend into December, with Abu Dhabi wrapping up the current generation of vehicles and power units ahead of the major revisions set for 2026, culminating on December 7.

For 2025, there will once again be six Sprint weekends featuring the 100km race on Saturdays – with Belgium stepping in for Austria as a venue for the alternative format alongside China, Miami, Austin, Brazil, and Qatar once more.

As it currently stands, only three teams are expected to maintain their 2024 line-up, with Lewis Hamilton’s transfer to Ferrari being hailed as possibly the most anticipated driver movement in history.

Red Bull is poised to finalize the rosters for their two teams following this year’s Abu Dhabi finale amid significant speculation regarding Sergio Perez’s future, even though the Mexican had signed a two-year contract extension earlier in 2024.
