Verstappen: Red Bull ‘deserved more’ after it ‘didn’t panic’

Max Verstappen feels Red Bull “deserved a little bit more” than third place in the constructors’ championship in 2024 after the team “didn’t panic” as it started to struggle.

Having won the title in consecutive years, the Milton Keynes squad fell behind McLaren and Ferrari, despite the Dutchman securing a fourth successive F1 drivers’ crown.

Hamilton makes Mercedes prediction ahead of Ferrari move

Lewis Hamilton has completed his Mercedes farewell tour, ending with a speech to team members at Brackley alongside Toto Wolff and George Russell.

The seven-time F1 drivers’ champion won six of those titles with the German marque after joining from McLaren in 2013 and has predicted “so much more success” at Mercedes in the future.

Norris retracts controversial Verstappen remarks

Lando Norris has walked back his contentious comments about Max Verstappen’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix victory.

In the wake of the spectacular performance from the now-four-time F1 drivers’ champion, the Briton said “it’s not talent, it’s just luck” after a red flag fell fortuitously in Red Bull and Verstappen’s favour at Interlagos.

Bortoleto reveals ‘very quick’ F1 seat plan changes

Gabriel Bortoleto has explained that initially the plan at Stake was to put him in a full-time race seat in 2026, when the team becomes Audi.

The F2 champion will, however, partner Nico Hulkenberg next season at the Hinwil-based team. He will race under number five, which was previously used by Sebastian Vettel.

Horner makes second Red Bull driver demand as Perez decision nears

Christian Horner has outlined what Red Bull requires from Max Verstappen’s team-mate next season, with Sergio Perez’s immediate future still unclear.

The 50-year-old stipulated a need for two drivers able to score points on a “regular and collective basis”, after the performance gap between the Dutchman and the Mexican became unsustainably large in 2024.
