Falcon Wrestling Set to Compete at Cleveland State Open

This weekend, Falcon wrestling is set to participate in two tournaments. The leading wrestlers from Air Force are going to Cleveland, Ohio, to take part in the Cleveland State Open on Saturday (Dec. 7).
The tournament draws a large number of competitors from around the country, including participants from Air Force, Bellarmine, Central Michigan, Clarion, Cleveland State, Edinboro, Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State, Lock Haven, Pitt, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio, Ohio State, West Virginia, and a variety of Div. II and unattached wrestlers.
Results will be available live on the FloArena platform. A live stream will not be provided for this event.

Gross Memorial Coliseum – Hays, Kansas
A group of wrestlers will make their way to Hays, Kansas, on Sunday (Dec. 8) to take part in the Bob Smith Open organized by Fort Hays State. Over 350 contenders from 25 educational institutions are signed up for Sunday’s open, which makes this the largest Bob Smith Open since 2016, when 379 wrestlers took part.
Fans can view live video of the tournament on both FloWrestling and The MIAA Network. Subscriptions to either platform will allow access to the coverage at no added cost. Monthly new subscriptions for FloWrestling are $29.99, while The MIAA Network offers viewing for $20. Results and brackets will be available on TrackWrestling.

The Falcons had a mixed result during their duals last weekend in California, suffering a loss to Big 12 rival California Baptist, 28-3, while dominating Vanguard, 54-0. Freshman EJ Beloncik stood out for Air Force with two victories during the weekend.
