The Griffins couldn’t have asked for a better start, as they led 22-8 after the first quarter, 54-15 at halftime and 82-19 after the third quarter. They scored 32 points in the second quarter and 28 points in the third quarter. Zoe Oller finished with nine points, seven rebounds and three steals, while Izzie Venarsky had eight points, five rebounds and four assists, and Sabrina Ivnik had four points. The Father McGivney girls basketball team opened the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Winterfest with its highest-scoring game in program history. The Griffins rolled past Elverado 91-22 on Dec. 26 in the first pool play game of the Winterfest in Centralia. Father McGivney is looking to win the tournament championship for a third straight season.
