Paramedics, Nakiska ski patrol and STARS air ambulance responded to the call in the early afternoon.
KANANASKIS COUNTRY – A young female skier was taken to a Calgary hospital in serious condition after a skiing incident at Nakiska Ski Area Wednesday afternoon (March 28).
“Given the potential injury, STARS also simultaneously responded from Calgary,” he said.

Stuart Brideaux, a public education officer with Alberta Health Services Emergency Medical Services, said paramedics responded at about 1:15 p.m. to a report of an injured skier.
