Fnatic ONIC showcased their composure in the final moments to stave off a reverse sweep from Myanmar’s Falcon Esports, winning 3-2, during the upper bracket semifinals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M6 World Championship on Sunday in Malaysia.

The representatives from the Philippines have secured a spot in the upper bracket finals and are guaranteed at least a top three finish.

Fnatic ONIC began strongly, led by an outstanding performance from gold laner Duane “Kelra” Pillas, whose maniac shortly before the 12-minute mark enabled the Filipinos to demolish the base and claim first blood.

Kelra continued his momentum from the last match against Selangor Red Giants, achieving another flawless 9/0/5 KDA this time with his Bruno selection.

Fnatic ONIC then reached match point at 2-0, thanks to midlaner Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez’s exceptional use of Pharsa, who contributed four kills and eight assists vital to the team’s success.

Nevertheless, Falcon Esports was determined to fight back, clinching the next two games to push the reigning MPL Philippines champions to a deciding match.

Ultimately, Fnatic ONIC proved too powerful for the Myanmar champions, with Kelra (Irithel) collaborating with SuperFrince (Yve) to eliminate Falcon Esports to the lower bracket.

Fnatic ONIC is now poised to face the winner of the matchup between RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid ID in the showdown of Indonesian clubs later today.
