DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (WABI) – Foxcroft Academy’s Austin Seavey has returned to the school where he won a Class D State Football Championship as the Ponies starting quarterback.

Seavey is this spring’s Director of Foxcroft Youth Sports Programming.

He’s found a way to give back to his school after graduating in 2022.

“I think it’s a super great opportunity for myself. I was really blessed with this opportunity to just come in and try to make an impact on kids’ lives. I’ve been able to make an impact the past couple years coaching football ever since I came back. I’m just super grateful to be able to impact kids at all grade levels throughout the youth sports program here at Foxcroft,” said Seavey.

Seavey played football, basketball, and baseball in the Foxcroft Youth Sports system.

He’s also the program coordinator at the Piscataquis Area Community Center.

Seavey’s studying for a Sports Management MBA at Husson.
