Bob Cochran is a well-respected figure in the WyoBraska basketball community, boasting over 40 years of coaching experience, multiple state tournament appearances, and a state championship title. His deep knowledge of the game and dedication to player development will provide a strong foundation for the program.
“Once a coach, always a coach; it never leaves your blood,” said Cochran. “I am very excited for this opportunity. The Gering Bulldog coaches look forward to molding each player into the best basketball version of themselves, which will also lead us to team success.”

Gering High School is proud to introduce Bob Cochran and Kalli Feddersen as Co-Head Coaches for the Girls Basketball Team. Together, they bring a dynamic mix of experience, passion, and strategic leadership to the program.
Kalli Feddersen, a former standout player at Rawlins High School (WY), Western Nebraska Community College, and Chadron State College, brings a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of the game. With previous experience as the head coach at Schuyler High School and the past two years as Gering’s Junior Varsity Girls Coach, Kalli has built strong relationships within the program and is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court. She currently teaches physical education at Northfield Elementary.
“I am very honored and excited for the opportunity to teach and coach at Gering High School,” said Baker. “Gering is a great community, and I can’t wait to lead the Bulldog basketball program. My goal is to help Gering achieve and compete at high levels and be ready to compete for conference and district championships.”
