A four-year veteran, Miller played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Illinois and LSU before transferring to Arizona State for the past two years. He has appeared in 117 college games, starting 113 of them.
A career 10.3-point-per-game scorer, Miller averaged 9.8 points last season while shooting 42.9% from 3-point range — his best season from deep by far and at least 8 percentage points better than any previous year.
The 6-foot-3 guard will join Braeden Smith and Jaylen Warley in the backcourt, while Graham Ike and Braden Huff will anchor the front court after announcing the duo will return to Gonzaga next season. Davis Fogle will also join the roster this summer following his senior year of high school.
Miller made his commitment public just hours after 2025 recruit Parker Jefferson announced he flipped his commitment from Minnesota to GU.
Miller will be the 12th player on Gonzaga’s roster, giving the Bulldogs room to continue adding players this spring.
The Peoria, Illinois, native could find himself in a role similar to Nolan Hickman’s last season — a facilitator and 3-point specialist that Gonzaga’s roster currently lacks.
With the addition of Miller, Few and his staff will have around four or five scholarships to fill this offseason, but that number is not exactly known due to a new rule coming to the NCAA next season.
In 2025–26, Division I men’s basketball teams will have a roster limit of 15 players, as opposed to a scholarship limit as in previous years. Programs will be able to offer 15 scholarships — whether that be full or partial — divided among the 15-player roster.
