Good Ranchers signs on as title sponsor for IndyCar’s return to Phoenix
IndyCar’s return to Phoenix Raceway will feature support from Good Ranchers as the title sponsor of the 250-mile contest. The meat delivery company is also signed up with Team Penske where it takes a number of races each season on Scott McLaughlin’s No. 3 Chevy.
“We’re excited to welcome Good Ranchers as the entitlement sponsor of our upcoming IndyCar race,” Phoenix Raceway president Latasha Causey said of the Friday-Saturday event across March 6-7, which is shared with NASCAR. “Their commitment to giving back and serving our veterans really resonates with our community and our fans. It shows that Good Ranchers brings the same heart and purpose to their work that our race weekends bring to the Valley, and we’re proud to partner with them for an unforgettable and historic event.”
IndyCar teams will have a busy stretch going back and forth across the country from the middle of February through the end of March as the series has scheduled a pre-season testing event on the one-mile oval at Phoenix for Feb. 17-18 ahead of the season opener in Florida at St. Petersburg from Feb. 27-March 1.
Teams then return west to Arizona for the second race of the season, then motor east to Arlington, Texas, for the March 13-15 street race the following weekend. After a weekend off, they close the month with a visit to Alabama for the March 27-29 Barber Motorsports Park race.
