Grand opening set for Roseville’s new Placer Valley Soccer Complex

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Roseville’s long-anticipated Placer Valley Soccer Complex is officially opening to the public, marking a major addition to the region’s growing lineup of sports and recreation destinations.

The city will celebrate the grand opening on Friday, Nov. 21, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with a night of drop-in and pickup games, youth clinics and family-friendly activities. 

Sacramento Republic FC and Iron Rose FC will lead soccer demonstrations and kids’ zone activities, alongside foam blaster fun and other sports demos, including field hockey, lacrosse, flag football and adult soccer.

Located within the Placer Valley Soccer Complex, the complex features 10 full-size, lighted artificial turf fields designed to host youth, adult and regional tournaments. 

Each full-size field can also accommodate smaller U10 and U12 field layouts.

Beyond its tournament focus, the site includes several community-oriented amenities:

• Power Playground, a universally accessible play area designed as a destination for children of all abilities

• A main pedestrian walkway with shade canopies and misting systems

• Roseville Automall North and South Plazas, featuring restrooms, shaded picnic areas, concessions, and office space for officials

• A looped walking and biking path that circles the complex, open to both park visitors and local residents for everyday exercise

• Parking for approximately 950 vehicles across the north and south lots

The City of Roseville is also opening field sponsorship opportunities for local businesses interested in supporting the facility. 

Each field sponsorship costs $6,000 per year with a minimum three-year commitment and includes banner signage, recognition on the city’s website and opportunities to distribute promotional materials to complex visitors.

According to the city, sponsorships provide local and regional companies with a way to showcase their commitment to youth sports, sports tourism and community development in Roseville.

The Placer Valley Soccer Complex is located at 2600 Westbrook Boulevard.
