“Good Morning Gulf Coast’s” Jason Drew made a splash Tuesday morning at the Gulf Coast’s newest attraction, Brightwater Lagoon in North Fort Myers. Whether you are sipping a Blue Lagoon or Lagoon Sunrise in your cabana, or ordering at the swim-up bar, you will find yourself on a little piece of paradise at this 6-acre lagoon surrounded by sandy beaches and hundreds of complimentary lounge chairs. General manager Jimmy Cruz talked to “Good Morning Gulf Coast” from the Sand Bar, took us to Cabana Cove — a VIP upgrade that you will not be disappointed with your table-side service or your floating Aquabana. Kids, young and old, will have a blast on the giant floating obstacle course and water slide.If staying dry is more your style, enjoy hanging around The Hub, or mini golfing, playing giant chess and checkers on the lawn, cornhole, beach volleyball, and so much more. The social calendar is always busy at Brightwater Lagoon. There is live music, karaoke and even movies shown on the big screen.
