“We had some good wins and some tough losses,” Slaba said. “We did a great job in conference, battling. This was a fun group to coach.”
This was a five-win decline from 2023-24, but that squad had Dakota State University player Rysley Borman, who tallied more than 1,000 points in his Arrow career.
“This is my favorite award,” Slaba said. “Max used his voice, but he was intentional with it.”
That story also will reveal the plans of all six seniors who will be lost to graduation, including Aiden Hiniker and Landon Johnson.
Awards night, inside the PAS Commons, also was an ice cream social.
Quist was outstanding on the boards, with 238 caroms overall. He snagged 52 rebounds on the offensive glass, second only to Austin Musch’s 113. However, Landon finished ahead of Austin in overall boards (Musch had 214).
Players also voted on the “Energy Award,” which was given to senior 5-foot-11 guard Max Taubert.
3-Point Specialist: Makhi Winter
Tagon Woelber received three golden statues as the overall most valuable player, MVP offense and for recording the most assists this season.
Tagon connected on 44 percent of his field goals (.333 from past the 3-point arc) and .633 from the free-throw line. He was the lone Arrow with triple-digit season assists.

Slaba noted Quist is now the Arrows’ all-time leading rebounder with 521, and that will be recognized on a new records placard which features both boys and girls all-time bests.
Landon Quist, a 6-foot-5 senior post who will play football at the next level, was tabbed “rebounding champion.”
