J.H. Rose’s runnin’ Rampants rolled over North Lenoir, 90-64, in the nightcap of the first round of games at Parker’s Barbecue Holiday basketball tournament on Thursday at the Rose Garden.
South Central started the action early in the afternoon with a 61-49 victory over Martin County. North Pitt followed by taking out Ayden-Grifton, 61-56 and Greene Central used a late second-half burst to put away D.H. Conley 64-48.
