And out of those 40 girls in the program, Sun Prairie East has three sets of twins – a “triple-double” for the Cardinals.Sun Prairie East girls’ head basketball coach Crystal Brandl says her plans of building a solid program at the school are coming together. SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV/Gray News) – A Wisconsin girls’ basketball coach says she is enjoying building up the program while getting those in the community involved. “Just the desire to see girls basketball grow again in Sun Prairie,” she said. “It’s time to get more youth involved. It was a great opportunity to come back to some of the kids I’ve had in middle school.”The twins are sophomores Cam & Kate Dwyer, freshmen Isamae & Kasia Cleveland and freshmen De’asia & Daysia Watkins. “We had 40 girls come out this year and I think I had 37 at the middle school,” Brandl said.Copyright 2025 WMTV via Gray Local Media, Inc.
