Clemson offered last September during the same week as Texas.McGill is considered a four-star recruit by 247Sports, which ranks him as the state’s No. 5 overall high school player in the Class of 2026 and the No. 16 running back in the country.McGill (5-foot-10, 200 pounds) ran for 1,658 yards last season, 10.2 yards per carry, with 24 touchdowns as he helped the first-year program Mountain View go 12-1 and reach the Class AAA Upper State championship game.
