Highlands youth basketball registration | My Hudson Valley
Friday, Nov. 21 is the last day to register four-to-13-year-old Town of Highlands youth for the town’s winter basketball leagues.
The programs – Start Smart for 4–5-year-olds, Junior College League for 6–7-year-olds, Collegiate League for 8–10-year-olds, and Jr. NBA League for 11–13-year-olds – begin the week of December 8, Recreation Director Aaron Falk said. The prices to play are $35 for the Start Smart players and $45 for the older leagues. Play is on Saturday mornings for the three younger leagues, also Tuesday for Collegiate League and weeknight evenings for the Jr. NBA League.
“Our programs are designed to help kids learn basketball while keeping them motivated and having fun,” Falk said. Players can be signed up by calling Falk at 845-446-4280 ext. 318 or visiting highlands-ny.gov.
