BOWLING GREEN — Kentucky Wesleyan gave Western Kentucky all it could handle for more than a half, but the Hilltoppers’ Don McHenry proved too much for the Panthers down the stretch.
McHenry, a relentless 6-foot-2 senior guard, knocked down four 3-point shots and poured in a game-best 29 points to drive WKU past the NCAA Division II Panthers 91-71 on Saturday afternoon in E.A. Diddle Arena.
