RENO, Nev. – The Battle for the Fremont Cannon at Mackay Stadium and a trip to Albuquerque for the first time in eight years feature in Nevada’s 2025 Mountain West Football matchups, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
The Mountain West returns to an eight-game schedule in 2025, and game dates for the conference slate will be announced later.
Next fall Nevada will host UNLV, Boise State, San Diego State, and San José State at Mackay Stadium, and hit the road to face Fresno State, New Mexico, Utah State, and Wyoming.
Season ticket deposits for the 2025 season are now open HERE—Wolf Pack fans may place a deposit of just $50 for each seat they would like to purchase. Current season ticket holders may renew their seats in January, and only need to make a deposit if they wish to add new seats.
Two of the 2025 road trips will be to locations less traveled by Nevada. The Wolf Pack’s trip to Albuquerque will be only its third since joining the Mountain West in 2012, and the first since 2016. Nevada and New Mexico were scheduled to play in Albuquerque in 2020, but COVID-related regulations in New Mexico forced the game, a 27-20 Wolf Pack win, to be played at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
The trip to Laramie to face Wyoming will also only be the third for Nevada since joining the Mountain West, and first since 2019.
On the home side, the Wolf Pack will host Utah State for the first time since 2020, and will look to extend its five-game winning streak over the Aggies in Reno.
