Houston Rockets guard Reed Sheppard surprised ten Boys & Girls Club kids at DICK’S House of Sport Katy with a $5,000 back-to-school shopping spree on August 26. Each child received a $150 gift card, and Sheppard is personally kicked in an extra $3,500 to make a bigger impact. The event held at the Katy store at 24600 Katy Freeway in Katy aligns with DICK’S broader mission to support youth sports and strengthen the communities where athletes and fans live and play, organizers said.
