The top athletes in the nation will descend upon Eugene, Oregon – aka TrackTown – this week for the United States Track and Field Outdoor Championships. The best sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, throwers and distance runners will all vie for spots on Team USA at the upcoming World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in September.
This year, the USATF Outdoor Championships are being streamed online and broadcast on TV. Here’s what you need to know heading into the meet.
When are the USATF Outdoor Championships?
They start at 10:30 p.m. on PT Thursday, July 31 and go until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3.

Where are the USATF Outdoor Championships?
At the iconic Hayward Field located on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, home to major track and field events such as the United States Olympic Trials, the World Championships, Diamond League and the NCAA Championships.
How do I watch the USATF Outdoor Championships?
Through a mix of both USATF.TV and NBC/Peacock. July 31.
Aug. 1 events will stream exclusively on USATF.TV, which requires a subscription.
Aug. 2 will be both USATF.TV and NBC/Peacock. The first portion, starting at 8:40 a.m., will be on USATF.TV. Then starting at 1 p.m., it will be available to watch on NBC and streaming live on Peacock until 3 p.m. The last portion, from 3 to 6 p.m., will be back on USATF.TV.
The final day, Aug. 3, will start on USATF.TV at 11:30 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. The rest of the meet will be on NBC and Peacock until the conclusion at 3 p.m.
