The Infant Child Enrichment Services (ICES) Board of Directors have appointed Paula Gaiser to serve as executive director.
Gaiser will replace Chris Mackenzie, who will retire after 23 years with the agency.
Gaiser is “a talented administrator with a heart for improving the lives of children,” stated an ICES news release.
Gaiser has served as operations director for the Youth Sports Foundation of Tuolumne County and has been involved in building a new youth sports complex on Tuolumne Road, and has held positions in human resources where she has worked in team building, creative problem solving and finding out-of-the-box solutions.
Gaiser will begin her new position on Monday, May 5.
In the news release, Gaiser stated that she is “honored to serve our local communities alongside a great team! Together, we can create better futures for our children and families.”
ICES is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to enrich the lives of children and families in Tuolumne and Mariposa counties.
