Time/location: 6 p.m. (CT) Saturday, Barclays Center, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Upcoming game for Iowa: Wednesday vs. Iowa State, 8 p.m.

Essential info: This will be the first encounter between the two teams since 1993, when C. Vivian Stringer and the Hawkeyes defeated Pat Summitt and the Lady Vols, 72-56, in Iowa City to reach the Final Four.

Iowa’s previous match occurred eight days ago, marking a 68-48 victory over BYU in the Cancun Challenge.

Coach Jan Jensen noted earlier this week that Lucy Olsen is “more likely than not” to participate on Saturday. The Hawkeyes’ top scorer (17.3 ppg), Olsen was sidelined during both games in Cancun due to a knee cut.

Jensen and her counterpart Kim Caldwell have both made strong starts in their new positions. Jensen had served as Lisa Bluder’s assistant at Iowa for 24 years; Caldwell assumed her role at Tennessee this season following eight years at Glenville State and Marshall (217-31).

The Lady Vols are currently averaging 95.0 points per game, while their opponents are generating 28.0 turnovers per game.

Five players from Tennessee are scoring in double digits, led by 6-foot sophomore guard Talaysia Cooper (19.7 ppg).
