Local gym Snap Fitness Isle of Wight is celebrating after receiving recognition as a winner at the National Fitness Awards.
The gym prevailed against competitors from across the UK to secure the Customer Service Award, acknowledged for the outstanding service and experience
it offers its members.
Now in its 14th year, the awards were evaluated by a panel of fitness specialists.
Snap Fitness Isle of Wight was named the winner after a selection process that involved a questionnaire for members and a visit to the gym to interview both members and staff.
This year, they also made the finalist shortlist in another category, Community Involvement.
The awards were presented at a glamorous ceremony in Leicester, and the team was thrilled to be named winners.
“Honestly, as a team, we couldn’t be prouder,” expressed Victoria Coles, Club Manager at Snap Fitness Isle of Wight.
“It feels incredible to be acknowledged for all the dedication and effort we invest in the club to make sure everyone who visits feels welcomed and supported.
“It was such an amazing evening, and our little gym on the island is truly shining! We really are like one family here and it feels wonderful to bring home the trophy to celebrate with our members.”
The team is proud of the friendly and inviting environment they’ve fostered in their gym, as evidenced by their average Google Review score of 4.9 from over 350 reviews.
Dominic Musgrave, director of the National Fitness Awards, remarked:
“This year’s winners have every reason to be proud – the exceptional standard of entries made it challenging to create a final shortlist, let alone determine a winner and runner-up in each category.”
“Our awards night celebrated the fitness industry as a whole, and it was fantastic to see so many gyms represented at the event.”
“It was a delightful evening, and it was lovely to share in the joy of the winners.”
The awards were presented in over 20 categories at a glamorous ceremony at The Athena in Leicester, attended by more than 800 guests and hosted by one of Britain’s sports legends, Derek Redmond.
