The West Plains R-VII School District is pleased to announce Jimmy Miller, an alumnus of West Plains High School, has been selected as the head coach for the Zizzer boys’ soccer team for the upcoming 2024 season.

“I am grateful and excited for the opportunity to be the next Zizzer boys’ head soccer coach,” said Jimmy Miller. “As someone who played in the program during its earliest seasons, I feel a personal responsibility to give back. It is a privilege to lead this program and work with such talented student athletes.”

Jimmy Miller graduated from West Plains High School in 1998, where he was a standout athlete in soccer, track, and concert choir. He then graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Sociology. He has extensive coaching experience and has mentored youth soccer players since 2008, including many past, present, and future Zizzers.

“We are excited to welcome Jimmy Miller to our coaching staff,” said Dr. Cooley, District Activities Director. “His passion for the sport, dedication to the program, and strong connections with our community will help continue the proud tradition of Zizzer soccer.”
