Police are not releasing any other information because the individuals involved are children. The case is still under investigation.
This is the second case of a juvenile being injured in a car surfing incident this week. On Sunday, a juvenile in south Wichita was riding on top of a car in a parking lot at 47th South and Broadway. The juvenile fell and sustained a serious head injury.
“It’s never a good idea to ride on top of a vehicle,” Wichita Police Sergeant Seth Creighton said. “It was a dangerous situation from the get-go.”
